The Parkman Grange will meet on Monday, May 2nd at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. Anyone interested in helping with community events is invited to attend. For more information, please contact Sue Manchester at 277-3942.
The Transfer Station will be open on Wednesdays beginning May 4, 2022, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. They are also open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please have your sticker visible to the attendants inside of your vehicle.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, May 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange is having their 20th Mother’s Day Tea on Saturday, May 7th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. The guest of honor is Tylene Kimball, who in 2000 came up with the idea to have a tea to honor mothers. Tea fare, sandwiches, and sweet treats will be served. Bobby Kimball and Julie Harrington will provide entertainment. There will be plenty of door prizes given away, and there will be a 50/50 raffle. Tickets sold fast for this popular event. The Bicentennial Committee will meet on Tuesday, May 10th at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. All are encouraged to attend this meeting in planning the 200th Celebration for the Town of Parkman on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, May 12th and Thursday, May 26th at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Town of Parkman will be having a Clean-up Days on Wednesday, May 11th and Saturday, May 14th . There will be NO CHARGE for Demo at the Transfer Station on these two days. You must have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants.
The moose permit applications are available online at www.maine.gov/ifw. The deadline for completion is by 11:59 p.m. on May 12, 2022. The Moose Lottery drawing will be held in June.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Monday, May 30th in observance of Memorial Day.

Stephen Lackey is the Animal Control Officer for the Town of Parkman. He can be reached at 343-2013. He deals with domestic animals only, please contact a Game Warden for wildlife issues.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.

Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704 or email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com.

The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call 277-4221.

The 2022 Boat Registrations are available. If you are registering a boat for the first time, you will need a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid at a dealer at time of registration. Registration fee is based on length of boat and horsepower. Boats DO NOT require a title. We also need the color of the boat and your Driver’s License or unexpired State ID per requirement of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday. They are located on the Crow Hill Road in Parkman. They will continue to take drop offs outside of these hours, but please call to ensure someone is available. They can be reached at 876-2681.
Minnie Bridge Scholarship applications are available at the Town Offices of SAD #4 (Abbot, Cambridge, Guilford, Parkman, and Sangerville). The $500 scholarship is open to a second year + college, technical, and community college students. The deadline for applications is Thursday, June 30, 2022. Please mail applications and all required materials to Parkman Grange, PO BOX, 114, Guilford, ME 04443 or drop them off at the Parkman Town Office.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this is not your first marriage, please bring in a copy of your divorce decree or a death certificate when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.
The SAD #4 District Budget Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the PCES cafeteria. There will be an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the PCES cafeteria for citizens to have the proposed budget explained and to ask questions.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk.
The Primary and SAD #4 Budget Validation Referendum will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Polls will be open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and voting will take place in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. Absentee ballots will be available.
ATV registrations will be available mid-May. Inland Fisheries has increased the price of ATV registrations. For a renewal the cost is $71.00, and for a new registration $72.00. ATV’s DO NOT require a title. Inland Fisheries requires patrons to bring in a valid drivers license or unexpired State ID when registering an ATV.
