  • Free fishing weekend is​​ Saturday, May 31st​​ through Sunday, June 1st. ​​ On these days, anyone (except those whose license has been suspended or revoked) may fish without a license. ​​ All other laws and regulations apply on these days.

 

  • The​​ Parkman Prowlers​​ ATV Club will meet on​​ Monday, June 2nd​​ at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of ​​ the Parkman Town Office. ​​ The meeting will be followed by a potluck dinner. ​​ Membership forms will be available.

 

  • The Parkman​​ Grange will meet on​​ Tuesday, June 3rd​​ at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. ​​ All are welcome to attend.

  • ATV registrations expire June 30, 2025. ​​ Stickers are now available. ​​ The cost to register new and renewal ATV’s is $75.00 for Maine residents and $120.00 for non-residents. ​​ ATV’s DO NOT require a title. ​​ If you are registering an ATV for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid at a dealer. ​​ If you are renewing an ATV, we request that you present a previous registration to ensure the correct machine is registered. ​​ It is unlawful to registered an oversized ATV in Maine. ​​ An ATV is considered oversized if it exceeds 65 inches in width/and or weighs more than 2,000 pounds, based on the manufacturer's specifications.

  • The 2025 boat registrations are available. ​​ If you are registering a boat for the first time, you will need a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid at a dealer at time of registration. ​​ The registration fee is based on the length of the boat and horsepower. ​​ Boats also have excise tax. ​​ Registration fees have increased for boats. ​​ Boats DO NOT require a title. ​​ If you are re-registering your boat, please bring in your old registration. ​​ You also need to bring your current driver’s license or unexpired State ID at time of registration.

 

  • The new Pine Tree Plates are available. ​​ If you would like to reserve the plate number that you currently have (Vanity and Low digits must be reserved) to be put on the Pine Tree Plate please do so as soon as possible online at​​ www.maine.gov/online/reservemyplate. ​​ There is a $25.00 one-time fee for reserving your plate number. ​​ If you have already reserved your plate, you will receive your new plate in the mail before your registration is due to run out. ​​ You will need to bring in your new license plate along with the letter you receive with the plates. ​​ If you do not care for the Pine Tree Plate, there is also a No Tree plate available for the same price. ​​ We are now requesting that you bring in your old registration every time you re-register a vehicle.​​ 

 

  • The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. ​​ Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. ​​ Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. ​​ If this is not your first marriage, please bring in a copy of your divorce decree or a death certificate when completing the application. ​​ Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.

 

  • When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. ​​ If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk. ​​ Please note that vehicles with a model year of​​ 1999 and older​​ are exempt from a certificate of title.

 

  • White’s Family Redemption​​ is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday. ​​ Please call (207) 876-2681 with any questions. ​​ They are located at 85 Crow Hill Road in Parkman.
