The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Thursday, July 3rd and Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
The Parkman Grange will not meet this month.
The 2025 tax bills will be mailed on Tuesday, July 1st. There is a 2% discount on tax bills paid in full within 30 days of postmark (Friday, August 1, 2025). Interest of 7.5% will begin accruing starting October 1, 2025.
The Parkman Prowlers ATV Club will meet on Monday, July 7th at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. The meeting will be followed by a potluck dinner. Membership forms will be available. All are welcome to attend.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, July 10th at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
“The Great Treasure Hunt” Summer Bible Camp will be held at the Parkman Baptist Church on Thursday, July 10th, 17th, 25th, and 31st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is a free program for kids ages 5 to 12. Younger children are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult. Kids will enjoy games, crafts, drama, Bible stories, songs, and yummy snacks. Water week will be held on July 25th, and a pirate picnic for kids and their families will be held on July 31st. For more information, please follow Parkman Baptist Church on Facebook.
The SAD #4 District Budget Meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the PCES cafeteria. There will be an informational meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the PCES cafeteria for citizens to have the proposed budget explained and to ask questions. All are encouraged to attend this meeting.

The SAD #4 District Budget Validation Referendum Election will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Voting will take place in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. Absentee ballots will be available at the Parkman Town Office. The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED for business on Election Day. There will not be a Selectmen’s Meeting on July 24th as well.
Fire permits can be obtained at KC’s Country Store: (207) 876-4111 and from Danny White at 85 Crow Hill Road: (207) 876-2681. Please do not call Danny White before 8:00 a.m. to obtain a fire permit.
ATV registrations expire June 30, 2025. Stickers are available at the Parkman Town Office. The cost to register new and renewal ATV’s is $75.00 for Maine residents and $120.00 for non-residents. ATV’s DO NOT require a title. If you are registering an ATV for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid at a dealer as well as a current driver-s license or unexpired State ID. If you are renewing an ATV, we request that you present a previous registration to ensure the correct machine is registered. It is unlawful to register an oversized ATV in Maine. An ATV is considered oversized if it exceeds 65 inches in width/and or weighs more than 2,000 pounds, based on the manufacturer's specifications.

The Transfer Station is open on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants.
White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday. Please call (207) 876-2681 with any questions. They are located at 85 Crow Hill Road in Parkman.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.

The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.

The new Pine Tree Plate
s are available. If you would like to reserve the plate number that you currently have (Vanity and Low digits must be reserved) to be put on the Pine Tree Plate please do so as soon as possible online at www.maine.gov/online/reservemyplate. There is a $25.00 one-time fee for reserving your plate number. If you have already reserved your plate, you will receive your new plate in the mail before your registration is due to run out. You will need to bring in your new license plate along with the letter you receive with the plates. If you do not care for the Pine Tree Plate, there is also a No Tree plate available for the same price. We are now requesting that you bring in your old registration every time you re-register a vehicle. If you have any questions, please call the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730.
Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your agent email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com, or fax to (207) 876-9704.
The 2025 Antlerless Deer Permit Lottery application is available online at www.mefishwildlife.com. The deadline for entries is July 31, 2025 by 11:59 p.m. The lottery drawing will take place on August 14th.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this is not your first marriage, please bring in a copy of your divorce decree or a death certificate when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.
The Recovery Wellness Community Center is open Tuesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They are located at 20 Douty Hill Road in Sangerville. They offer all recovery meetings. For more information, please visit their Facebook page: Recovery Wellness Community Center or call (207) 343-1536.
The 2025 boat registrations are available. If you are registering a boat for the first time, you will need a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid at a dealer at time of registration. The registration fee is based on the length of the boat and horsepower. Boats also have excise tax. Registration fees have increased for boats. Boats DO NOT require a title. If you are re-registering your boat, please bring in your old registration. You also need to bring your current driver’s license or unexpired State ID at time of registration.
The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call (207) 277-4221.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk. Please note that vehicles with a model year of 1999 and older are exempt from a certificate of title.
The Cambridge Community Clothes Closet is open the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.
