Hunting with firearms begins on Saturday, November 1st for Maine residents and Monday, November 3rd for all hunters. The last day of hunting season for firearms is November 29, 2025.
White’s Family Redemption will be closed on Saturday, November 1st for the first day of hunting season. They are going to Winter hours in November, open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please call outside of regular hours. They can be reached at (207) 876-2681. Drop offs are welcome via phone call, message, or names on bags. Please check their Facebook page, as they will update hours when needed. They are closed on Thanksgiving. They are located at 85 Crow Hill Road in Parkman. They wish all the hunters the best of luck this hunting season!

The Referendum Election and SAD #4 District Budget Validation Referendum Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. Polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you haven’t returned your absentee ballot, please do so by 8:00 p.m. on November 4th. The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED for business on Election Day.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, November 4th at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. All are welcome to attend.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, November 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Trailblazers Snowmobile Club will meet on Monday, November 10th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. All are welcome to attend. Please help support the local snowmobile club by joining today.

The Parkman Grange is again helping Santa to make Christmas special for SAD #4 area children with the Santa Project. The program provides winter coats, boots, and a toy for local children whose families could use a little help this holiday season. Applications are available on the bulletin board on the Grange porch or at the Parkman Town Office. You can return the forms at the Parkman Town Office or on the Grange porch. Application deadline is Wednesday, November 12, 2025. The distribution will be on Sunday, December 21st at the Parkman Grange Hall from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, November 13th at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange will have a Hunters Supper on Saturday, November 15th at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. The menu will include baked ham, beans, veggies, yeast rolls, and desserts. The meal is by donation.
The Parkman Historical Society will meet on Friday, November 21st at 5:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. They will have pizza for supper and start planning for 2026. All are welcome to attend.
SAD #4 will not have school Wednesday, November 26th through Friday, November 28th for Thanksgiving break.
The Parkman Prowlers ATV Club will be having a toy drive and potluck turkey dinner on Saturday, November 22nd at 5:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. The toy drive is to benefit the Parkman Grange’s SAD #4 Santa Project. Bring a toy and a potluck dish to share if you want. If you are unable to attend but would like to donate a toy, you can drop it off any time prior to November 22nd at the Parkman Town Office in the big drop box in the library.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
The PCES HUGS Parent Group is having a Festival of Wreaths on Saturday, November 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Guilford Methodist Church. Tickets are 50 cents each. They will be donating 25% of the proceeds to the Recovery Wellness Center for their effected youth SAY program.

The Parkman Historical Society has 2026 calendars for purchase at the Parkman Town Office and at KC’s Country Store. They are $10 each.
The Transfer Station is open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants.
All unpaid 2025 property taxes are accruing interest of 7.5%. Interest began on October 1, 2025.
Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your agent email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com, or fax to (207) 876-9704.
The 2026 Dog Licenses are now available. Reminder letters went out in October to those who registered their dogs last year. The fee for a male/female is $11.00, and $6.00 for a spayed or neutered dog. All dogs must be licensed by January 31, 2026. If you are registering your dog for the first time, we will need the current rabies certificate, proof of sterilization if applicable, microchip information and manufacturer if microchipped, and basic information about the dog (date of birth, color, breed, etc). It is a law in the State of Maine that all dogs six months and older must be licensed, and a $25.00 late fee will apply if not registered by the deadline.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call (207) 277-4221.

The 2026 Snowmobile registration and stickers are now available. The fee is $60.00 for residents, and $124.00 for non-residents. If you are registering your snowmobile for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid from a dealer at time registration. Snowmobiles DO NOT require a title.

When coming in to register anything in the MOSES system (Boats, ATV’s, Snowmobiles, Hunting/Fishing licenses) please bring in your previous registration or license. This ensures that the correct registration is being done. You also need to bring in your current driver’s license or unexpired State ID at time of registration.
Fishing licenses are increasing to $32.00 for 2026 licenses, and combination Hunting/Fishing licenses will increase to $50.00.
The Cambridge Community Clothes Closet is open the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.
