Muzzleloader season is from December 1st through December 13th and the cost for a muzzleloader license is $14.00.
SANTA IS COMING TO THE PARKMAN GRANGE: On Saturday, December 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to hear kids’ wishes, take pictures, and hand out gifts. There will be simple crafts to make for presents to give to family or friends. Christmas cookies and hot cocoa will be served. In the spirit of Christmas and giving, this party is a gift to the community from the Grange. The Parkman Grange is located at the corner of State Hwy 150 and North Dexter Road.
The Parkman Trailblazers Snowmobile Club will meet on Tuesday, December 9th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. All are welcome to attend. Please help support the local snowmobile club by joining today.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, December 11th at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Historical Society will meet on Friday, December 19th at 5:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. They will have pizza for supper and continue to plan for 2026. All are welcome to attend.
SAD #4 Christmas break: Last day before break is a half a day, dismissal is at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 19th. School will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.
The distribution for the SAD #4 Santa Project will be on Sunday, December 21st from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at the Parkman Grange Hall.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED Wednesday, December 24th through Friday, December 26th in observance of Christmas.
The Transfer Station is open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants inside of your vehicle.
The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend. They will have a candlelight Christmas Eve Service on Wednesday, December 24th at 6:00 p.m.
Just a friendly reminder that all dogs six months and older must be licensed by January 31, 2026, or a state mandated $25.00 late fee will apply. The fee for a male/female is $11.00, and $6.00 for a spayed or neutered dog. If you are registering your dog for the first time, we will need the current rabies certificate, proof of sterilization if applicable, microchip information and manufacturer if microchipped, and basic information about the dog (date of birth, color, breed, etc.)
The Parkman Historical Society has 2026 calendars for purchase at the Parkman Town Office and at KC’s Country Store. They are $10 each.
White’s Family Redemption will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please call outside of regular hours. They can be reached at (207) 876-2681. Drop offs are welcome via phone call, message, or names on bags. They will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. They are located at 85 Crow Hill Road in Parkman.
As of October 1, 2025, all 2025 unpaid property taxes are accruing interest at 7.5%.
The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call (207) 277-4221.
Hamlin Associates Inc is located at 1385 State Hwy 150, Parkman. They can be reached at (207) 876-3300. They have a new website (www.hamlinassociatesinc.com). They no longer have a fax number.
The 2026 Snowmobile registration and stickers are now available. The fee is $60.00 for residents, and $124.00 for non-residents. If you are registering your snowmobile for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid from a dealer at time of registration. Snowmobiles DO NOT require a title.
Fishing licenses are increasing to $32.00 for 2026 licenses, and combination Hunting/Fishing licenses will increase to $50.00.

Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your agent email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com, or fax to (207) 876-9704.

If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.

When coming in to register anything in the MOSES system (Boats, ATV’s, Snowmobiles, Hunting/Fishing licenses) please bring in your previous registration or license. This ensures that the correct registration is being done. You also need to bring in your current driver’s license or unexpired State ID at time of registration.

The 2026 Boat registration and stickers have been delayed at this time. They are usually available in December. We hope to have more information as to when they will be available in our next newsletter, but most likely sometime in January 2026.
The Cambridge Community Clothes Closet is open the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. They are in the basement of the Cambridge Baptist Church, 9 North Road in Cambridge. All clothing is free. For more information, please call (207) 277-3234.
When re-registering your vehicle, please bring in your previous registration.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk. Please note that all vehicles 2000 or newer require a title. Beginning January 1, 2026, all vehicles 2001 or newer will require a title.
The fiscal year for the Town of Parkman ends on January 31, 2026, which is a Saturday so Friday, January 30, 2026, is the last business day of the year for the Town of Parkman (open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Property taxes unpaid at that time will appear in the annual Town Report. Any requests to the Selectmen for articles in the warrant for the Annual Town Meeting must be received by the close of business on January 30, 2026.
