The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, November 1st at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. All are welcome to join them. Please call Sue Manchester at 277-3942 for more information.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, November 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
White’s Family Redemption hours are changing during Hunting Season. They will be CLOSED on Saturday, October 29th. They will be open Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Availability for uncounted bottles will be limited, so please call ahead: 876-2681.
Don’t forget to FALL BACK and set your clocks back one hour on Sunday, November 6th at 2:00 a.m.
The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Polls will open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. Voting will take place in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. If you have not returned your absentee ballot, please do so by 8:00 p.m. on November 8th. The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED for business on Election Day.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Friday, November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day.
SAD #4 will not have school on Friday, November 11th.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, November 10th at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Trailblazers Snowmobile Club will meet on Tuesday, November 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange will have a Hunter’s Supper on Saturday, November 19th at 4:30 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. The menu will include beans and hot dogs, coleslaw, veggies, yeast rolls, desserts, and beverages. Meal is by cash donation to benefit the SAD #4 Santa Project. Gun raffle winners will be picked at 6:00 p.m., followed by a pie auction to benefit the PCHS Class of 2023. Thanksgiving is the following week, so plan to grab a pie to support a great cause.
Hunting with firearms begins on Saturday, October 29th for Maine residents and Monday, October 31st for all hunters. The last day of hunting season for firearms is November 26, 2022.

The Parkman Grange is again coordinating the SAD #4 Santa Project. Applications are available at the Parkman Town Office and on the Parkman Grange’s porch in the bulletin board. The application deadline is November 11, 2022. The Santa Project provides a winter coat, boots, and a toy to area children from newborn to high schoolers. Donations are gratefully accepted and can be mailed to the Parkman Grange, PO BOX 114, Guilford, ME 04443. Please make checks payable to the Parkman Grange and put Santa in the memo line. The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
SAD #4 will not have school Wednesday, November 23rd through Friday, November 25th for Thanksgiving break.
The 2023 Dog Licenses are now available. Reminder letters were sent out in October. If you would like to do your dog license renewal via mail, please remember to enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope so we can send you the new tag. The fee for a male/female is $11.00, and $6.00 for a spayed or neutered dog. All dogs six months and older must be licensed by January 31, 2023, or a $25.00 state mandated late fee will apply. If you are coming in for the first time to register your dog, please bring in a current rabies certificate from your veterinarian and a spayed/neutered certificate if your dog has been fixed.
The Transfer Station is open Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants inside of your vehicle.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.

Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704 or email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk.
The 2023 snowmobile registration and stickers are now available. The fee for a renewal is $56.00, and $57.00 for new registrations. Non-resident snowmobile registrations are $120.00, non-resident 3-Day is $75.00, and non-resident 10-Day is $100.00. The Town of Parkman participates in the MOSES program for all recreational licenses and atv’s, boats, and snowmobiles. You must bring in a valid driver’s license or unexpired State ID and vin number of previous registration. If you are registering for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid from a dealer at the time of registration. Snowmobiles DO NOT require a title.
The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call 277-4221.
