The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, September 1st at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. All are welcome to attend.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, September 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.
There will not be school for SAD #4 on Monday, September 7, 2026.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, September 10th at 5:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The deadline for antlerless deer permit recipients to claim and purchase their permits is 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Visit mefishwildlife.com/deerpermit to claim and purchase permits.
White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday. They are located at 85 Crow Hill Road in Parkman. Please call (207) 876-2681 with any questions. Please note that they will be CLOSED on Saturday, September 12th for a wedding.
The Parkman Prowlers ATV Club will meet on Monday, September 14th at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. This is a potluck meeting, and all are welcome to attend. Membership forms are available at the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Historical Society will meet on Friday, September 18th at 6:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. This is a supper meeting, and all are welcome to attend. Please bring harvest stories to share. They will discuss the annual calendar and plan for the annual cook out.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Wednesday, September 23rd and Thursday, September 24th so staff can attend Elections Trainings.
The Transfer Station is open on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please note that Wednesday, September 30th will be the last day the Transfer Station is open on Wednesdays this year. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants.

Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your agent email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com, or fax to (207) 876-9704.

It is unlawful to register an oversized ATV in Maine. An ATV is considered oversized if it exceeds 65 inches in width/and or weighs more than 2,000 pounds, based on the manufacturer's specifications. We do now have ATV stickers at the Parkman Town Office. The cost to register an ATV is $75.00 for Maine residents and $120.00 for non-residents. ATV’s DO NOT require a title or proof of insurance. IF you are registering an ATV for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid at a dealer. If you renew an ATV, we request that you present a previous registration to ensure the correct machine is registered.

All unpaid 2026 property taxes begin accruing interest of 7% on October 1, 2026.
Please help clean up the cemetery by removing plants and pots and all artificial flowers by October 2, 2026.
The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.

The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call (207) 277-4221.

The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this is not your first marriage, please bring in a copy of your divorce decree or a death certificate when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.

The Cambridge Community Clothes Closet is open the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. They are in the basement of the Cambridge Baptist Church, 9 North Road in Cambridge. All clothing is free. For more information, please call (207) 277-3234.
When registering anything in the MOSES system (ATV’s, boats, snowmobiles, recreational license) please bring in your prior registration and a valid driver’s license/unexpired State ID at time of registration.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk. Please note that vehicles with a model year of 2000 and older are exempt from a certificate of title.
Fire permits can be obtained at KC’s Country Store: (207) 876-4111 and from Danny White at 85 Crow Hill Road: (207) 876-2681. Please do not call Danny before 8:00 a.m. to obtain a fire permit.
There will be an increase in the fee for returned checks at the Parkman Town Office. The fee will increase to $35.00 per check effective immediately.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
When re-registering your vehicle, please bring in your previous registration. By now, you should have switched to the Pine Tree plate if you had a chickadee plate previously. If you still have a chickadee plate on your vehicle then your registration has expired.
