ATV registrations expire June 30, 2026. Inland Fisheries and Wildlife have not sent us the stickers for renewal yet. We announced in the last newsletter that we were anticipating them by the end of June, but we have not received word from them that they have mailed them to us yet. Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is encouraging customers to go online and re-register their ATV’s, and they will send you a sticker if you don’t want to wait for us to get them. We currently have a limited supply of stickers for new ATV registrations. The cost to register new and renewal ATV’s is $75.00 for Maine residents and $120.00 for non-residents. ATV’s DO NOT require a title or proof of insurance. If you are registering an ATV for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid at a dealer. If you are renewing an ATV, we request that you present a previous registration to ensure the correct machine is registered. It is unlawful to register an oversized ATV in Maine. An ATV is considered oversized if it exceeds 65 inches in width/and or weighs more than 2,000 pounds, based on the manufacturer's specifications.
