The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day.
There will not be school for SAD #4 on Monday, September 1, 2025.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, September 2nd at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. All are welcome to attend.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, September 4th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Prowlers ATV Club will meet on Monday, September 8th at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. The meeting will be followed by a potluck dinner. All are welcome to attend.
The SAD #4 District Budget Validation Referendum will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Voting will take place in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. Absentee ballots are available at the Parkman Town Office. The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED for business on Election Day.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, September 25th at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The deadline for antherless deer permit recipients to claim and purchase their permits is 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Visit mefishwildlife.com/deerpermit to claim and purchase permits.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Wednesday, September 24th so staff can attend a MOSES training.
The Transfer Station is open on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please note that Wednesday, September 24th will be the last day the Transfer Station will be open on Wednesdays this year. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants.
The Parkman Grange awarded two MSAD #4 area college students Minnie Welts Bridge Scholarships of $500 each for the 2025-2026 school year. Congratulations to Hannah Dow Bulley and Sydney Hutchins for receiving the scholarships.

White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. They can be reached at (207) 876-2681 for questions and they will take bottles and cans on days they are closed if you call ahead.
The Parkman Prowlers ATV Club has laminated trail maps available for purchase at the Parkman Town Office and KC’s Country Store for $3.00 each.
The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
Fire permits can be obtained at KC’s Country Store: (207) 876-4111 and from Danny White at 85 Crow Hill Road: (207) 876-2681. Please do not call Danny White before 8:00 a.m. to obtain a fire permit.
Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your agent email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com, or fax to (207) 876-9704.

When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk. Please note that vehicles with a model year of 1999 and older are exempt from a certificate of title.

If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
When coming in to register anything in the MOSES system (Boats, ATV’s, Hunting/Fishing licenses) please bring in your previous registration or license. This ensures that the correct registration is being done. You will also need to bring in your current driver’s license or unexpired State ID at time of registration.
The Cambridge Community Clothes Closet is open the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. All unpaid 2025 property taxes begin accruing interest of 7.5% on October 1, 2025.

The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call (207) 277-4221.
Please note that it is unlawful to register an oversized ATV in Maine. An ATV is considered oversized if it exceeds 65 inches in width/and or weighs more than 2,000 pounds, based on the manufacturer's specifications.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this is not your first marriage, please bring in a copy of your divorce decree or a death certificate when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.
The Parkman Town Office is requesting that you bring in your previous registration every time you renew a vehicle registration. The Pine Tree plates are available, as well as the No Tree Plates for passenger vehicles. If you have a vehicle registration that runs out May 2025 on, you will receive the new plate at time of registration. If you have a vehicle registration that runs out January through April, then in 2026 you get a new plate when you re-register your vehicle during its run out month. If you reserved your plate number through www.maine.gov/online/reseveremyplate, please bring in your new license plate along with the letter you receive with the plates at time of registration.
