The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of New Years. We hope everyone has a Happy New Year!
Effective January 1, 2026: Vehicles that are 26 model years and older are exempt from the requirement for a certificate of title (2000 and older are exempt).
SAD #4 schools will resume from Christmas break on Monday, January 5, 2026.
The Parkman Grange is closed for the winter. They will reopen for the Town Meeting in March of 2026.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, January 8th and Thursday, January 22nd at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office. On Thursday, January 8th, 2026, there will be a Public Hearing at 5:30 p.m. regarding amendment to the Land Use Ordinance. Information is available at the Parkman Town Office regarding the amendment.
The Parkman Trailblazers Snowmobile Club will meet on Tuesday, January 13th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. All are welcome to attend. Please help support the local snowmobile club by joining today.
The Parkman Historical Society will meet on Friday, January 16th at 5:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. All are welcome to attend.

The Transfer Station is open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants inside of your vehicle.

Just a friendly reminder that all dogs six months and older must be licensed by January 31, 2026, or a state mandated $25.00 late fee will apply. The fee for a male/female is $11.00 and $6.00 for a spayed or neutered dog. If you are registering your dog for the fist time, we will need the current rabies certificate, proof of sterilization if applicable, microchip information and manufacturer if microchipped, and basic information about the dog (date of birth, color, breed, etc.).
As of October 1, 2025, all 2025 unpaid property taxes are accruing interest at 7.5%.
Reminder: If SAD #4 schools are closed due to inclement weather, the Parkman Town Office will be closed too.
Fishing licenses have increased to $32.00 for 2026 licenses, and combination hunting/fishing licenses have increased to $50.00.
The fiscal year for the Town of Parkman ends on January 31, 2026, which is a Saturday so Friday, January 30,2026, is the last business day of the year for the Town of Parkman (open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Property taxes unpaid at that time will appear in the annual Town Report. Any request to the Selectmen for articles in the warrant for the Annual Town Meeting must be received by the close of business on January 30, 2026.

The Parkman Historical Society has 2026 calendars for purchase at the Parkman Town Office and at KC’s Country Store. They are $10 each.
The 2026 Snowmobile registration and stickers are now available. The fee is $60.00 for residents, and $124.00 for non-residents. If you are registering your snowmobile for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid from a dealer at time of registration. Snowmobiles DO NOT require a title.
The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.

If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at (207) 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
When re-registering your vehicle, please bring in your previous registration.

The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call (207) 277-4221.
Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance or you can have your agent email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com, or fax to (207) 876-9704.
White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please call outside of regular hours. They can be reached at (207) 876-2681. They are located at 85 Crow Hill Road in Parkman.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk.
The Cambridge Community Clothes Closet is open the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.
